East Shore LIVE is proud to announce our 2016 concert season. From the diverse programming to the dynamic artistry, each performance promises to be an exciting and memorable evening. This season features gypsy jazz, cabaret, improv comedy, ukuleles, multimedia - and the meaning of the blues! Where else can you experience the best of art and entertainment, in a relaxed and intimate atmosphere?

Often, what we need from music is an emotional picture of the life we could be living - if we would only step out in faith to realize it. We need a map for the journey, and the courage to begin.

Join musicians Ron Stilwell, John Chmaj and the Cascade Jazz Ensemble for a night of joyous and hopeful music. The Dance Of Creation is a special multi-media journey celebrating creation myths, origin stories and scientific knowledge from prehistoric times until today - incorporating video, images, multi-cultural music, improvisational dance and live spoken-word performance.

Featuring the groundbreaking visual art of Mari Eckstein Gower, the narration of Michelle Conklin, the dance of Theresa Webley, and the music of the Cascade Jazz Ensemble. Come help us celebrate the intersection of Science and Myth, Art and Story!

We are hard at work preparing for our next show, "Love: All Your Questions Answered."
Featuring a wonderful ensemble cast, this musical/theater/cabaret show is guaranteed to answer all of your questions about love! We start at the beginning, with the creation of the world, and follow humanity's tentative and groping efforts to understand and navigate the long road of relationship.

Jazz From The Soul - January 17th

The Cascade Jazz Ensemble proudly kicks off the 2015 East Shore LIVE performance series with an exciting concert of spiritual music by jazz masters. “Jazz from the SOUL” celebrates the evolution of jazz as a spiritual music, featuring works by major composers from Duke Ellington through Charlie Parker, Charles Mingus to John Coltrane, and many others.

The roots of jazz as an expression of blues, gospel and other spiritual traditions will be explored in both vocal and instrumental music, as well as readings and dance. Featuring several special guest performers. All are welcome to this unique and upbeat concert experience!
