Off The Cuff - April 16th

Gary Schwartz, an award-winning, TV and film actor, director, master improvisational acting coach and now author, had a story to tell. In fact, he has so many stories it took an entire evening to tell them! This incredible show included songs, videos, monologues, pantomimes, and even poetry that represented Gary Schwartz’s career - starting out as a class clown, his showbiz debut as a 13 year old professional mime, to his transition to Hollywood as a comedian, TV, film and voice actor and renowned Improv teacher. He even led the audience in some Theater Games and included a talk with local playwright Jamie Gower - taking questions about his storied career.

We won't soon forget this amazing evening!

Cabaret In Three Acts - March 19th

On March 19th, we'll present a night of Cabaret - just in time for Seattle's annual Cabaret Month celebrations. Kim Maguire and Judy Ann Moulton will treat us to two new shows.

Cabaret chanteuse Kim Maguire brings you a dynamic set of songs, sexy and chic to comedy. She'll be singing everything from Strauss (yes, get ready for those high notes!) to American Songbook favorites. Take an intimate look at who and what lies behind some of our most well written songs, high and fast to slow and low. Some songs are born from heartbreak, some from joy, and some are born, well, simply because they brought in a paycheck. From classic composition to modern, there's a story behind them all.  Come find out what lies between the sheets - the music sheets that is!

Judy Ann Moulton, BroadwayWorld.com Critics' Choice Award Winner for her show "Judy Sings Judy, will perform her newest cabaret show "From Crayons to Perfume".   The show includes songs from the 60's and 70's about life and love made famous by Connie Francis, Lesley Gore, Dusty Springfield, Carole King, Helen Reddy, Carly Simon, Linda Ronstadt, Melissa Manchester, Lulu, and more!  Judys rich and expressive voice has been described as nothing short of amazing (Seattle Times).  Her show Judy Sings Judy drew rave reviews, including this tireless, people-pleasing performer won the audience's heart, and a well-deserved standing ovation (http://www.talkinbroadway.com/).

All performances take place in Spring Hall at East Shore Unitarian Church - 12700 SE 32nd St. Bellevue, WA, 98005 - near the intersection of I-90 and I-405.  Admission is $15, and is open to all ages. Come join us LIVE!

Hot Club Of Broadway - February 20th

Our next show is on February 20th - The Hot Club Of Broadway!

To keep your toes tapping, The Hot Club of Broadway brings together the hot club music of 1930's Paris with the swinging tunes of the Great American Songbook. Influenced by guitar master Django Reinhardt and violinist Stephan Grapelli, the band's instrumental music invokes days gone-by that are still savored.

This quartet features the guitar of Jim Char who enhance gypsy jazz and waltzes with later day American jazz. Violinist Tim Wetmiller augments the band with the influences of American violinists Stuff Smith and Joe Venuti. The band's fiery rhythms are driven by guitarist Arthur Knapp. The rich tones of the double bass are added by Taylor Kent.

The musicians of The Hot Club of Broadway have come together to create a unique sound that we know you will like. Come on out and enjoy yourselves.

All performances take place in Spring Hall at East Shore Unitarian Church - 12700 SE 32nd St. Bellevue, WA, 98005 - near the intersection of I-90 and I-405.  Admission is $15, and is open to all ages. Come join us LIVE!
